What Are The Best Registry Cleaners For Vista, XP and Windows7?
It is a natural instinct to want the best of anything we wish to have or own. But even if so, how do we gauge something for it to fit as the best? With many variables to take into consideration, it is usually not an easy decision. Same thing happens when it comes to choosing the best registry cleaner to buy for our computer. Even if it is a freeware some may still encounter difficulties in choosing which would be the best free registry cleaners to use. An addition to this dilemma, there are many pros and cons from experts coming from both sides of the fence which makes it even more confusing. Opinions from different from different individuals who may have a positive or negative experiences in using the cleaner software can contribute to the confusion.
If one has to scour the internet for some reviews, some may notice that most of these are affiliate sites purely tailored to make a sale. Of course, the cleaner utility manufacturers will always say nice things about their respective products. So who do we believe? In my opinion, the best one to believe is yourself. Why? Try to ask the question, “what is the best registry cleaner out there?”. The answer, of course, does not come easily. That is why one has to make his own thorough research about the cleaner software available out in the software utility market. It may be a good start to look for the following qualities: ease of use and installation, software features, pricing and support or help system.
It is a fact that a big number of computer users are not adept when it comes to troubleshooting the computer if something goes seemingly wrong with it. Therefore, a registry cleaners software with easy to understand user interface with simple screen installation wizard is a big plus factor. Another factor to look at is the built-in features of the software. By looking at them, one can have an overall view of what the utility can do in terms of functionality and capability. There are many registry cleaner utilities with convenience features aside from the basic function of scanning, cleaning and defragmenting the Windows registry. Others can have an auto scheduler or a registry backup feature. Help and support is one vital factor to take into account. Help files, online or phone support centers, user guide and FAQs are of great importance.
One good way to evaluate a good registry cleaner utility is to try and use it. If one prefers to rely his or her judgment from reviews, it would be wise to get information from credible sources. For the paid cleaner, one can always take an actual peek into its functions by using the trial or evaluation versions of the software. A free cleaner software can always be tested fully provided you take the necessary precautions and research before putting it into actual use. Making a well-informed choice on what is the best registry cleaner to use can lead to satisfaction and great peace of mind.

lynne,
Registry Booster from Uniblue has had consistent positive reviews from different experts and computer users and I have used it with no problems too.
On the other hand, I haven’t tried RegTool yet. But, currently, there are quite a number of negative reviews from experts claiming that RegTool is a malware out to suck your money out.
